In the Bible it says that there came a call from Macedonia. What I experience are calls from the Philippines.

Imagine you and your family living on the pavements of the streets in Manila.

It is time to heed the call and ACT. The apostles had acts of following Jesus, and those acts changed the world around them. Let us also act, to change our world and help our brothers and sisters in need.

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all,
especially to those who are of the household of faith. Gal. 6:10

Today I received 2 emails with calls for help from pastors in Manila. Please read and consider your response to these people in devastating circumstances.

The first email is from Rev. Ernesto Domingo, pastoring the church:

Rev. Erneste Domingo writes:

Dear Bro. Martin
pls help us because some of my brothers in cainta rizal are effected by typhoon "ONDOY & Peppeng".
Also my church members ..w/ 50 families AFFECTED by the typhoon

This picture is after the flood. Their houses collapsed. Now they live like this, in shelters on the street pavements near a school.

Shortly thereafter I got email from Pastor Emilio Langres. He sent some photos of how members of his church live, now their houses have been destroyed.
Emilio Langres writes:

Hello Martin,
greetings from Pandacan, Manila, Philippines.
I'm happy to hear from Dan that your ministry is moving up to raise relief assistance for us victims of the 2 (two) super typhoons that causes flash floods in almost the entire Manila.
We are earnestly praying that God will use you to be a channel of blessing to us Filipinos who are desperately needing your big help. Thank you so much. God bless you and your family.
