I will tell you about the vast, incredible and long lasting effect of the work of Rev. Clyde V. Shields and the Philippine Miracle Mission Inc. (PMMI or Miracle), which Rev. Clyde V. Shields started.

In the summer month of July 1976 Rev Clidy V. Shields led a group of ten Filipino singers called the Philippine Miracle Choir of Miracles from PMMI  to visit churches all around Europe, as they were on a world-tour singing and testifying as well as asking people to support the Bible college they had in San Fernando.

It was very seldom that people of colour and from Far East came to the churches in Europe, and it had a huge impact on the Christians in many churches. The Filipinos sang some great songs very well and also performed native dances with tribal clothing. This was a real attraction.

Many started to support the work of Miracle by supporting a Bible college student.

In 2006 Bishop Conrado Domingo married Susan Chan, Academic Dean and Director of Philippine Miracle Mission Inc. (Miracle).

Bishop Conrado Domingo became the Director of the Philippine Miracle Mission Inc. sometime between 2008 and early 2009.

In the early summer of 2009 Bishop Conrado Domingo and Susan requested that I would be involved in the work of Miracle as a mission representative abroad with the mission of raising funds for the work in the Philippines. This resulted in a visit in July 2009 where I had opportunity to meet Susan again and have conversations with both Susan and Conrado and to take a closer look at the Miracle compound. There I saw a lot of opportunities waiting to happen if Christian people around the world are willing to share their material blessings with the dedicated Bible college students and its staff in the Miracle mission in San Fernando.

So now I am working together with Bishop Conrado Domingo, who was one of the students in the first Bible College class at Miracle and also his new wife Susan Chan.

The Lords ways are not our ways, and when we give to the Lord, we do not always know how it will be dispersed and which rewards it will bring.

I firmly believe in my heart, that if Rev. Clyde V. Shields had not taken those students of the Miracle Bible College on a world-tour, my interest as well as the interest and passion of the European people to help in the Philippines would not have been so substantial.

Aside from this story, I am sure that many lives have been touched by all the Bible college students trained and graduated from Miracle Bible College, and later pastoring around the Philippines. I am sure that many Filipinos can point back to a moment of salvation and other decisive moments or events caused by Bible college students from Miracle.

The reason for telling this story is that you can see that your gift to this work - even it was given years ago - actually still has a huge effect on many Filipinos lives today, and that you again have the chance to sow into this work of the Lord.
